Wednesday Metropolitan racing in Victoria heads to Sale for another split winter meeting. There will be three hurdle races, one steeplechase and five flat track races with the first to commence at 11:50am local time.
The track is currently rated a soft 6. Victorian’s are set for a moderate day with tops of 21 degrees! There’s 0-3 mm of rain expected on race day which will keep this track in the soft range.
The rail is out 5m for this meeting. Traditionally, with the rail out 5m the track plays very fairly. Expect all races to be pace dependent. Watch and assess throughout the day.
