FREE: NSW Provincial & Country Service – Scone 12/8

On Thursday we get a Provincial meeting at Scone. Track is currently S5, with the rail true. Rain is expected on Thursday track will probably stay in the soft region. Scone historically is a pretty fair track with no obvious bias. Looks a strong meeting on paper but a lot of strong runners at unbackable odds writing off a lot of races.

Scone Race 1 – Retiro

Second up for his third start. First up got the blinkers first time and finished 5th on the Kenso. Had to burn a bit early to get to be prominent in running. On debut ran 6th of 13 in G2 company without favours.

Back to provincial grade here back in trip to the 900m. Scratched from newcastle for this. Leaders have a 35%+ SR over this track/trip. Maps to find the front and should prove hard to run down.

Scone Race 6 – In The Blink

Second up for her 4th start. Last start 5th of 12 at the Kenso on soft over 1100. She was taken back from a wide barrier and ran on well. Second up last prep 2nd at wellington over 1100.

Kris Lees scratched her from newcastle for this. Gets Reece Jones in the saddle along with his large 3kg claim. Gets an extra 100m and a track to suit. Looks a good chance and should run on well

Tip: 2 Unit Win In The Blink @3 With TopSport
