FREE: NSW Provincial & Country Service – Gunnedah 16/8

We race at Gunnedah on Monday. Track is a Good 3 with the rail true. There will be a 20kmh head wind in the straight to deal with. Weather is good.

Results since the start of this service (3rd of August 21)

Gunnedah Race 2 – Mister Ripley

This bloke has been very costly to the bankroll lately. Second up 4th, wide without cover, at Gosford and followed that up with a placing at Wyong. Has since come out and finished runner up 3 times in a row for a combined margin of half a length. Last start went up to Provincial grade at Wyong without Chris Obrien in the saddle. He ran 2nd over 1350 but they went fast early and that took a toll late.

Back to country grade and back to 1250. Chris Obrien gets back in the saddle for his only ride of the day. Maps well without much speed inside of him. Box seat is probable and ideal. More than happy with the price.

Gunnedah Race 7 – Aesop’s Fable

First up. Stable change from J G Sargent. Generally competitive fresh and those figures hold up well here.

No gear changes first up with her new stable is a positive. Back in trip to the 1300 and could run a race.
