Battle of the last two number one picks
It is a battle of the first overall picks as Trevor Lawrence goes up against Joe Burrow. The two young quarterbacks dominated in college but have not had it their own way in the NFL. Both of these passers have some good weapons and we could see a fun game tonight with neither defence impressing too much. With a fairly low total at 46 I am leaning the over. Lawrence has shown signs already that he is going to have a big game and that could come here in his first ever prime time game.
Jags can get their first win
Bengals are strong favourites here but I just do not feel too comfortable giving up so many points, regardless of the team. I think the Jaguars offence can certainly keep up and this could come down to the final drive. The Bengals as more than a touchdown favourites gives me no confidence at all, even if the Jaguars are sitting at 0-3. I like to have a small bet on the moneyline whenever I am backing the underdog in this sort of situation. A huge percentage of teams that cover, also go on to win outright so it can be an excellent value play.
