Results

Hawkesbury R6 7. Bella Violet

Couple gear changes have sharpened her up a bit. Recent ratings have been good over this trip. Stepped out in trip last start running well over the 1900. Freshened for the drop back in trip. Maps well to settle on the speed in a race without much on paper.

Hawkesbury R7 12. What A Peach

Blinkers first time last start, won over the 1200m at Newcastle on heavy. Rating was good. Fit and stepping out to the 1300m seems ideal. Well in at the weights. Nice draw.

Hawkesbury R8 4. Esteemed Lady

Found the value in her. She is in great order this prep and well set-up into this race. She’s placed 3/3 this prep in some smart races, in tougher company. Well at the weights with Ellen’s claim. Freshened for the drop back to the 1000m, handles the wet. Maps well to settle just behind what looks to be a hot speed. Laurelin resumed poorly from a break and doesn’t look in good order.
