FREE: Happy Valley 19th of October – Our Picks
October 19, 2022
Back to Happy Valley on Wednesday night for our usual meeting under the lights. Overall strong card. Our analyst has found a few he likes throughout the night.
Happy Valley R2 5. Hercules
Showed a good turn of foot last start when winning from back in the field, this track/trip by 0.5L. Overall time was good but L200 suggests he has improve on that rating. Similar story first-up but found himself up against some smart ones. Draws in close and will enjoy a nice run.

Happy Valley R3 9. Gold Gold Baby
Blinkers removed two back and is a new horse. Blistering times two back when 3rd 0.6L getting back to 12th in running. Then bolted in showing a brilliant turn of foot when far back behind a slow speed. Impressive win and super late splits. Should appreciate the rise in class with the added speed here. Gets in light and ratings look good for it.

Happy Valley R5 9. Amigos Giggle
Really like this one here. Resumed with a very good rating here 14 days ago. He jumped at $1.9, failed to salute but ran very good time. Finished off last prep with another 2 solid efforts running good time in both. Maps to get the run of the race here. Looks very well placed.

Happy Valley R8 9. Gallant Waking
Comes into this with a solid string of ratings at HV with his best being last start. Won under 61kg in Class 4, that rating was good. Tricky map but has the chance to get into a spot off the rails a couple pairs back. Price is attractive
