Saturday Metropolitan racing in Victoria heads to Flemington for the time honoured Victory Derby. What a support cast the Derby has this year with 8 more ripping races including 2 x Group 1s (Coolmore & Empire Rose).
The track is currently rated a Soft 7. Victorian’s are set for a cool day with tops of 17 degrees! This track has already seen lots of rainfall in the past 48 hours and expect it to start well into the soft range.
The rail is in the true for today’s program. With the rail in the true, expect the track to favour those who can draw middle stalls and get to 2-3 lanes off the inside rail.
