Lieutenant Dunbar
Thought Lieutenant Dunbar was arguably the run of the meeting the last time we saw him at the races. Had to do a mountain of work to get to the top after being posted deep early on a very genuine tempo and really went down fighting, beaten only 1.5L at the finish by a potential Saturday horse in Costazita. Bit of speed drawn underneath here from 6 in the small field but confident Kesh should lob him in the first 3 in running and if he is able to fire him out and get him across to lead, suspect he will be awfully hard to run down.

Magic To Exceed
Terrific placement by the camp here back into a midweek CL3. Been racing predominately in much higher grade/stronger races than this, two starts ago beaten under 2L The Velvet Queen in a 72+ and although 9th of 10 last start in a 66+, beaten only 3.5L Hardly Ever. Loves Belmont with terrific track/distance stats to boot with a 60+ victory here over Multinational to his name, you don’t often read about that sort of form for a midweek CL3. Kesh should lob him in a lovely spot close enough to the box-seat from the draw and thought he posed the best bet of quite a thin midweek card.
