Another year has come and gone, and we kick off 2021 at Headquarters where Flemington hosts a competitive 8 race New Year’s Day card.
The track is currently rated a good 4. Victorians are set to expect a warm day with a top temperature of 27 degrees. With a thunderstorm and 2-5mm of rain predicted we could see the track move into the Soft 5 range.
The rail is out 3m for this meeting. Hard to see there being any obvious track bias with weather and track conditions lining up perfectly for racing. Many races should be pace dependent. As always, watch and assess.
