Alonso showed great pace during qualifying and with this track looking like it may be difficult to overtake on, you can expect the former world champion will be extremely difficult to get past.

Norris has also been solid this week and will start from 6th on the grid with just over 0.1 seconds of pace over Sainz in 7th.

I expect Norris will jump ahead of Alonso during the pit window so it seems that he should be a good bet if he can stay out of trouble early.

* Note: Bottas, Verstappen & Sainz have all been asked to front the stewards and may receive a penalty which will see our two picks jump forward 2 places so it may pay to get in early.

Fastest Lap

Hamilton was lengths above the rest in qualifying and it would be hard to bet against him taking home the fastest lap.

Podium

This could be a risky bet but at the current price of $4.50 we want to take a stab at Gasly.

As stated above, Verstappen and Bottas could receive a grid penalty for ignoring yellow flags in qualifying which could see Gasly start from second place. If this happens then Gasly may be able to build some space and hold on to the podium and that is why it is worth a small play here.

We will be waiting to hear the result of the penalties for this bet but IF Verstappen DOES NOT receive a penalty we believe the Hamilton / Verstappen 1-2 is a good bet at the $2.15.
