North Melbourne have delisted Cooper Harvey, the son of club great Brent Harvey, along with Zac Fisher and Luke Urquhart in their latest list changes after the AFL trade period.
The Kangaroos confirmed on Tuesday that the three players had been told they will not be offered contracts for the 2027 season.
Father-son pick departs
Harvey joined North Melbourne as a father-son selection from the Northern Knights, taken with pick No.56 in the 2022 AFL Draft. He made his debut in Round 17, 2023, and played 17 games across his four seasons at Arden Street.
His father, Brent “Boomer” Harvey, played 432 games for North Melbourne from 1996 to 2016 and held the VFL/AFL games record for a decade before Collingwood’s Scott Pendlebury passed it this year, as ABC Sport reported.

Fisher cut with a year to run
Fisher was traded to the Kangaroos from Carlton ahead of the 2024 season and played 26 games across three seasons, including one senior appearance in 2026.
He still had a year left on his contract, but the club said the decision opens up a list spot ahead of the upcoming draft and recruitment period.
Knee injury hampered Urquhart
Urquhart was taken with pick No.57 in the 2024 National Draft out of WAFL club East Fremantle. A knee injury kept him out for a large part of the 2026 season, and he did not play an AFL game for North Melbourne.
What the club said
North Melbourne general manager of football Todd Viney thanked the trio for their time at the club.
“We thank Cooper, Zac and Luke for their commitment and efforts during their time here at North Melbourne,” Viney said.
“We wish them all the very best of luck in their future endeavours.”
The changes follow the departure of defender Josh Goater to Hawthorn during the trade period.
