The Conference finalists have been determined in the 2025 National Football League playoffs. In the American Football Conference, the Buffalo Bills are facing the Kansas City Chiefs. In the National Football Conference, the Philadelphia Eagles are facing the Washington Commanders.

The Bills are coming off a narrow 27-25 win over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. The key turning point in this contest was the fact that Ravens tight end Mark Andrews had the worst game of his life. In the second half, Andrews fumbled the football, and then dropped a catch on a two-point conversion attempt that would have tied the game at 27.

Speaking of tight ends, the reason why Kansas City is in the AFC Championship is because Travis Kelce was great. He had seven catches for 117 receiving yards and one touchdown catch in a 23-14 win over the Houston Texans. Kelce’s touchdown was for 11 yards at 3:08 of the fourth quarter. What was most amazing of the touchdown, was the fact that Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was able to get the football off right before his knees touched the ground.

Meanwhile, Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff was as bad in the divisional playoff against the Washington Commanders, as Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert was in the AFC Wildcard against the Houston Texans a week ago. Goff threw 17 incompletions and three interceptions in a 45-31 Lions loss to the Commanders. Washington quarterback Jayden Daniels completed 22 of 31 passes for 299 passing yards and two touchdowns, along with 16 rushes for 51 rushing yards.

Finally, the Eagles beat the Los Angeles Rams 28-22 on Saturday. What we saw was greatness from Eagles running back Saquon Barkley of the Bronx, New York, who had 26 rushes for 205 rushing yards and two touchdowns, and another four catches for 27 receiving yards. Barkley set the Eagles franchise record for most rushing yards in a playoff game. The old record belonged to Steve Van Buren of La Ceiba, Honduras, who had 196 rushing yards in a 14-0 Eagles win over the Rams on December 18, 1949.
