Caulfield is set for another big day of racing action with some high class 2-and-3-year-olds making their returns including the much-anticipated return of Golden Slipper fancy, Enthaar.
The track is currently rated a soft 6. Victorians are set to expect a cool day with a top temperature of 22 degrees! With heavy down pour already playing havoc on the track and expected rain on Raceday we could see a few track downgrades possibly even into a heavy.
The rail is out 9m for this meeting. The Australia Day meeting would have no doubt left a fair few running marks and with the rain hitting during the week I’m expecting the inside to chop up quite a bit. Outside barriers and horses that can sit wide could be an advantage.
