Brisbane awaits the debut of Nikita Tszyu

Another No Limit Boxing card is set to be headlined by Tszyu, however this time it is Tim’s little brother Nikita who will make his professional debut at the Brisbane Convention Centre on March 2.

He will lace up the gloves against unbeaten super-welterweight Aaron Stahl who boasts a record of 2-0-1.

It was announced late last year that the younger Tszyu will take on the professional ranks following a hiatus away from the sport to focus on an architecture degree at university.

After watching his brother rise up the world rankings, Nikita was keen to make a return to the sport he performed so well at in the amateur ranks.

Speaking to media at a press conference in Brisbane earlier this morning, Nikita’s and Tim’s manager Glen Jennings sent a clear warning to potential opponents.

“Nikita come to the ring on March 2 with bad intentions. He’s been out of the game for a long time,” Jennings said.

“I can guarantee you one thing, when Nikita dedicates himself to something and he did with his university degree…don’t blink. Don’t get out of your seat. Don’t go anywhere.

“Nikita’s coming back to boxing to make a statement. And it’s going to be an exciting ride. Together with Tim, it’s a wonderful platform here at the Brisbane Convention Centre to launch the next phase of the Tszyu legacy in Australian boxing.”

Confirmed fights on the MAIN CARD:

Nikita Tszyu v Aaron Stahl

Dennis Hogan v Wade Ryan

Liam Wilson v Joe Noynay

Steve Spark v River Diaz
