Parramatta have locked in Brian Kelly until the end of 2028, rewarding the outside back after a season in which he played his 200th NRL game and was named a dual recipient of the club’s best and fairest award.
The Eels announced the contract extension on Tuesday morning, keeping Kelly at the club until the end of 2028.
The club said Kelly was a dual recipient of the Ken Thornett Medal, its best and fairest award, capping a big year that also included his 200-game NRL milestone.
What the Eels said
Parramatta general manager of football Mark O’Neill said the new deal reflected Kelly’s value to the side.
“Brian has been a wonderful addition to our team since arriving at the Club. He’s an experienced outside back who consistently delivers for us and is one of our strongest contributors in yardage gained each week,” O’Neill said.

“His hard work and competitiveness set a great example for our younger players, and being recognised as a dual Ken Thornett Medalist this year reflects the respect he has earned throughout the Club. We’re delighted he’ll continue his journey with the Eels.”
Another senior player locked in
A proud Bundjalung man, Kelly has represented the Indigenous All Stars and the Australian Prime Minister’s XIII.
His extension follows prop Junior Paulo’s new deal with the club last week, as Parramatta keep key senior players in place ahead of the 2027 season.
