The replays and sectional times have been reviewed from Saturday’s Dark Jewel meeting at Scone. Our analyst has black booked a Snowden filly that was outstanding in Listed company and a lightly raced Charlton 4yo that is building a fantastic record. 

Miss Freelove

The Snowden filly was an impressive 0.04L winner of the Listed Denise’s Joy. She settled off midfield and was forced to take an inside run along the fence where the majority of jockeys had been fanning off from throughout the day. The fence’s inferiority may of been overplayed but it was a win full of merit regardless. She looks one to be following heading to Queensland where she has had success before.

Bev’s Nine

The Charlton 4yo just keeps winning and took his career record to 8: 6-1-0 in the Listed Ortensia stakes. He makes his own luck up on speed and has wins on all surfaces.
