The Waller 3yo really impressed stepping up to Saturday grade for the first time with a 2.3L win over 1300m at Rosehill. He settled one pair forward of the rear and once he circled the field and drew levelled with them at the 200m he sprinted away for a big win. He looks ready to run through the grades.
McHale
He hasn’t won since taking out the G3 Bill Ritchie in September on 2024 but the Waller 5yo looks to be getting back to his best. He settled a shade worse than midfield and let down really strongly down the outside only finding General Salute too good to finish 1L 2nd. He should be set to peak 3rd up.
