The replays and sectional times have been reviewed from Saturday’s Randwick meeting. Our analyst has Black Booked a dominant 2yo winner and a Waller 4yo that impressed after previously being touted as a future Listed winner by his trainer.

Bangkok Hottie

The David Payne 2yo was an arrogant 2.1L winner of the opener settling 2 back and cruising to the front under minimal riding before bolting away for her 2nd consecutive victory. She goes to the paddock now but will definitely be one to watch for in stronger races when she returns.

Rotagilla

The Waller 4yo impressed with his 0.5L win in BM94 company. He settled at the rear and had a lot to do on the turn. Schiller had a lap full of horse at the top of the straight as he eventually bulldozed his way into clear running going better than opening fav Polymnia before going on to claim victory. It’s hard to imagine that he won’t have improvement to come being 2nd up over 1800m. Waller has previously mentioned that he believes he will win a Listed race once he gets out to 2000m so we can follow into stronger company with confidence.
