Black Book: Horses You Must Back Next Start From Warwick Farm 15/10

A cracking day of spring midweek racing has come to a close at Warwick Farm. Our analyst has black booked an ultra impressive maiden winner and a Matthew Smith entire that looks ready to progress to Saturday grade after breaking the track record.

Nitro

The Snowden gelding was heavily backed on debut and punters would’ve been seething all the way up until the final 100m after he stepped slow and settled off midfield. He worked his way into on the turn but was caught awkwardly all over heels for most of the straight. He was still in a very awkward position at the 150m a few lengths off coming across heels. He exploded the final 100m to claim a victory that never looked likely. His final 600m sectional of 33.64s was outstanding considering the trouble he struck. He looks ready to step straight up to BM company.

Golden Straand

The Matt Smith entire was ultra impressive recording a consecutive midweek win. He settled 2nd and gapped them in spectacular fashion recording a 2.2L victory. The 1.08.39 time was a new 1200m Warwick Farm track record.
