Best Of The Best: Sha Tin 11th of December
December 11, 2022
Excellent day of racing at Sha Tin with 4x G1’s, R4 The Longines Hong Kong Vase, R5 The Longines Hong Kong Sprint, R7 The Longines Hong Kong Mile, R8 The Longines Hong Kong Cup. This means an excellent card with some of the worlds best horses, Golden Sixty, Jack D’or, Romantic Warrior, Panthalassa and Glory Vase. The rest of the card is filled with good high quality competitive races. Our analyst has put together his best bets on the card. Good luck.
Sha Tin R3 4. Victor The Winner
Bounced back last start to win at short odds with Jmac on. He ran time there after setting a very fast tempo. Will cross from the draw here and looks very tough to beat again.

Sha Tin R5 1. Wellington
Poor last start at $1.9 but set up beautifully. Happy to forgive that for the price we are getting today. New jockey on can spark improvement. Looks very tough to beat on those figures prior and this is the target race.

Sha Tin R8 2. Romantic Warrior
Excellent win when first-up from a long spell with the steering from Jmac. Will come on for that effort and will be fitter here second-up. Will be suited by the hot speed with Jack D’or, Money Catcher and Panthalassa all looking for the lead.
2.5u at $3 with TopSport
Sha Tin R9 12. Super Sunny Sing
Couple nice efforts in class 4 company, including the latest coming from well back to finish 2nd 0.5L running good time under 61kg. Draws well here and the step up in trip looks ideal.
0.75u at $9 with TopSport
Sha Tin R10 5. Ima Single Man
Racing well over the 1200m but should relish the step up in trip. Has a couple excellent runs over 1400m. Maps well here.
0.75u at $10 with TopSport
Sha Tin R10 8. Circuit Stellar
Racing in very good order consistently putting up good ratings. Draws to receive an excellent run from the inside here.
0.75u at $8 with TopSport
