This Gerald Ryan & Sterling Alexiou mare looks to be racing in career best form after flashing home to finish 2nd over this track and distance last start. She stays right down in the weights with 54kg and has a fantastic record on heavy tracks 3:2-0-0.

This 3yo filly from the Cummings yard is another down in the weights which is always a bonus on heavy tracks. She was luckless at Kensington last start where she was forced to continually switch to the worst part of the track on the inside.

This race has lost a lot of depth with scratchings and the booking of Kerrin McEvoy with a light weight is a great push.

Rosehill Race 9 – Harpo Marx

There’s no doubt Harpo Marx will be looking for more ground but the tough stayer showed 1st up that he is capable of running a race over 1800m here.

The steward’s report reads that Harpo Marx blundered several times before the turn before having his run checked on multiple occasions from the 300m-150m. When he was finally clear he flashed home to run the equal quickest final 200m of the race.

That run was much better than it reads in the form guide and he looks great value at $15.
