Tyrol steps out for his first start in a race in a maiden that doesn’t look too strong. His 3 trial wins from as many starts suggests that he is prime to cash in. His most impressive trial win was on a heavy where he trounced his rivals by 3.3L. Gerald Ryan and Sterling Alexiou always have their horses primed first up and should get the day off to a solid star.

Warwick Farm Race 2 – Sky Horse
Sky Horse steps out here after running 3rd in a Saturday grade race at Randwick a fortnight ago. That form should be enough to have him right in this. In a race that doesn’t appear to have too much speed on paper, It’s easy to see him settle just off the speed and peeling out wide to the better part of the heavy track and being very hard to beat. He’s one from one on the heavy and Maher & Eustace have a great record when bringing these stayers up from Melbourne.

Warwick Farm Race 5 – Derbari
This Dundeel loooks suited by a heavy track 3rd up from a spell over 1400m. Last start at Canterbury he looked a run short when he camped just off the speed, hit the front only to be nailed on the post. He should improve off that run and barrier 12 should be a positive on this heavy track.
