Alison Lee of Los Angeles, California and 2023 Women’s PGA Championship winner Ruoning Yin of Kunming, China are the leaders after round two of the 2026 United States Women’s Open from the Riviera Golf Course in Los Angeles. Lee and Yin are both at -4 after 36 holes.

Lee had a first rounds score of one-under-par and a second round score of three-under-par. In the first round she had three birdies and two bogeys. Lee birdied the first, eighth, and 17th holes, and bogeyed the sixth and 10th holes. In the second round, Lee had four birdies and one bogey. She birdied the first and eighth holes again, as well as the seventh and 12th holes. Lee’s second round bogey came on the ninth hole.

Yin had a first and second round score of two-under-par. In the first round, she had five birdies and three bogeys. Yin birdied the seventh, eighth, ninth, 11th and 17th holes, and bogeyed the 12th, 14th, and 15th holes. In the second round, she had two birdies and zero bogeys. Yin birdied the third and 11th holes.

There are 14 golfers currently in contention. There is a six-way tie for third place at -3. Those golfers one stroke back are three-time major champion In-gee Chun of Gunsan, South Korea (2015 United States Women’s Open champion, 2016 Evian Championship and the 2022 Women’s PGA Championship), 2022 Chevron Championship winner Jennifer Kupcho of Littleton, Colorado, 2019 Women’s British Open champion Hinako Shibuno of Okayama, Japan, 2020 Women’s PGA Championship winner Sei-young Kim of Seoul, South Korea, Hyun-jo Yoo of South Korea and Gaby Lopez of Mexico City, Mexico.

Four golfers are at -2 and two strokes back. They are three-time major champion Nelly Korda of Bradenton, Florida (2021 Women’s PGA Championship, 2024 and 2026 Chevron Championship), Lauren Coughlin of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Casandra Alexander of Johannesburg, South Africa, and Sora Kamia of Toki, Japan.

Meanwhile, four golfers are at -1 and three strokes back. They are 2008 and 2012 Women’s British Open champion Jiyai Shin of Yeonggwang-gun, South Korea, 2023 United States Women’s Open champion Allisen Corpuz of Honolulu, Hawaii, 2021 ANA Inspiration champion Patty Tavatanakit of Bangkok, Thailand, and Nasa Hataoka of Kasama, Japan.
