IF there is one game Adelaide is ensured of playing well in it’s the local Derby when they take on Port Adelaide which kicks off Round 8 on Thursday night at Adelaide Oval.
They have won three of their past four clashes with the Power including their past two matches,
It’s a good time to take on Port Adelaide as they have several injuries to contend with.
Ruckman Ivan Soldo is out for five weeks and he’s joined on the sidelines by Allir Allir and Sam Powell Pepper who will miss the season.
Both South Australian teams had wins last round with the Crows having a confidence booster against North Melbourne and the Power defeated a depleted St Kilda,
Adelaide is $2.30 with PlayUp and look good value. Port Adelaide is $1.60.
The following night at the MCG powerhouses Carlton and Collingwood will play in front of a massive crowd.
Collingwood need to win to stay in touch with the eight while similarly Carlton can’t afford another loss if they want to finish in the top four.
Carlton are $1.77 with PlayUp and Collingwood is $2.05 which looks appealing.
It’s a match which should go down to the wire.
The 15 points Tribet line is $2.75 with PlayUp which might be the best punting option for this match.
