2025 NFL Playoffs: Divisional Round Preview: Our Expert Tips & Staking Plan

There are just seven games remaining in this NFL season but what a year it has been. We have four incredible match ups this weekend and we are covering them all.

I will likely be adding some more picks before the games so make sure to check back.

Houston Texans @ Kansas City Chiefs

It has been a bit of an underwhelming season for Houston, but that could all change with a win here and I think they have a real shot to pull of the upset. Of course CJ Stroud will have to be at his best, but I absolutely love the Texans pass rush going up against what I think is the weakness of the Chiefs, their offensive tackles. If they can get to Mahomes as I think they can here, they can make it really hard for the Chiefs offence that hasn’t exactly been at it’s electric best this season.

I think if the Texans can keep it tight early, they have a real chance to shock the world here.

Washington Commanders @ Detroit Lions

The Commanders got their first playoff win since 2005 last week to cap what has been a phenomenal first season for the team and rookie QB Jayden Daniels. But I think it comes to an end here. The Lions are a juggernaut of a team. Offensively they can put up points as fast as anybody, but on defence they are getting stronger and stronger as the season goes on. It is a big spread in this one, but I think Detroit can cover.

Los Angeles Rams @ Philadelphia Eagles

The Rams had one of their best games of the season a week ago, but I just can’t ignore their up and down form throughout the year. Matthew Stafford struggled down the stretch and so did this team. I think the Eagles will not give them the sort of things that the Vikings did in the Wildcard game and it will be all Philadelphia tomorrow. I think the Eagles are built to win playoff games and they will do so here.

Baltimore Ravens @ Buffalo Bills

Josh Allen has an incredible record in the sort of conditions we are likely to see in this game, losing just one of the 10 games he has played when the temperature plummets like this.

The Ravens are a strong team but I just believe in the roster that Buffalo have put together more than that in Baltimore. In the last meeting between these teams, the Ravens ran away with it, but it was a strange game where everything broke Baltimore’s way. I think Buffalo can reverse that here and get a huge win.
