2024 NFL Week 6 Preview: Our Expert Tips & Staking Plan
October 13, 2024

Well that was not the week five we were after. But that incredible first month of the NFL season gives us room for error and we still sit at 10.84 units of profit for the season.
I will likely be adding some more picks before the games so make sure to check back.
Houston Texans @ New England Patriots
It is a new era in New England as Drake Maye starts at quarterback, and I think we will see a big uptick in the Patriots performance. Their receivers have been getting open a lot this year, but Jacoby Brissett just could not find them. I believe Maye will.
The Texans have been a little underwhelming overall, despite some decent results. I think defensively they will give up plays and perhaps the weight of expectation is getting to them after spending last year as plucky underdogs.
I think the Patriots, at home, can get a big upset win here under their new quarterback.
I will look to add some Maye passing props before kick offÂ

Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ New Orleans Saints
Maybe not a new era in New Orleans, but rookie Spencer Rattler will get the start with Derek Carr sidelined with injury. The Saints got off to a red hot start but have looked really poor since week two. A rookie, who left a lot to be desired in his college career, does not feel like the answer.
The Buccaneers have been impressive. Their 3-2 record does not reflect the performance of the team. They have won in their past two visits to the Superdome and they can make that three from three.

Washington Commanders @ Baltimore Ravens
The Ravens really should have lost last week. They were second best for 3.75 quarters but some great play from Lamar Jackson dragged them back into it.
The Commanders, and Jayden Daniels in particular, have been electric. They are pretty big underdogs here, but they can upset the Ravens as they continue their charge through the NFL.

Cincinnati Bengals @ New York Giants
The Bengals suffered an absolutely heart-breaking loss last week (one that we were unfortunately on) but they are playing some really good football.
The Giants will be without Malik Nabers once again and he is arguably their most important players, despite being just three games into his NFL career. The Giants are just not a good football team and I expect the Bengals to take the frustrations of last week out on them.
