There seems to have been more injuries than ever to start this season. What that does is open up an opportunity to find an edge in these games so lets try and make some money! We have a lot for you to get your teeth into this week

Denver Broncos @ Miami Dolphins

Jaylen Waddle is out for this game and I think that is a bigger deal than some are making out. This offence is built around three players – Waddle, Tyreek Hill and Tua Tagovailoa. Take one piece of that out and it makes them so much easier to defend. Don’t get me wrong, Hill will still get some yards, but this Broncos team has shown flashes of being a really solid team.

I think Russell Wilson has been a lot better, but not put a whole game together. It can happen here though and Denver can head home with an upset win.

Houston Texans @ Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jaguars absolutely blew it last week against the Chiefs. The defence really had the dangerous KC offence under control. And despite countless opportunities in the Red Zone, Jacksonville just could not get it done. But for me, that game still comes out as a positive for the Jags. They gave themselves the chances, they just did not execute. But things will be a lot easier here and they will want to make up for that bit of a let down last week.

New England Patriots @ New York Jets

This is unlikely to be pretty. Two excellent defences against two very poor offences. I just do not see either offence being able to put together a consistent attack. They both have massive issues on the offensive line, up against two very good pass rushes. I think both quarterbacks struggle, and we see a really low scoring game. In that type of game, I am always happy to take the points with the underdog, even more so at home.

Tennessee Titans @ Cleveland Browns

We are still waiting to see if Deshaun Watson still has it in him to be the quarterback he was with the Texans. In his time with the Browns, he has rated as one of the league’s worst passers. Until we see it, I am going to keep backing against him. The Titans have an incredible run defence, so the pressure will be on him to get it done here.
