Just five weeks to go in the NFL regular season. There are some huge games tonight that could go a long way to deciding how each conference looks come January.

I will likely be adding some more picks before the games so make sure to check back.

Houston Texans @ New York Jets

It is teacher vs student as Demeco Ryans goes against his old boss. In these match ups I so often favour the more experienced guy. The Texans have been fantastic this season, but it shouldn’t be underestimated how big of a loss Tank Dell will be. CJ Stroud has not really had one of those “rookie games” yet, but this Jets defence is the sort that could bring it out of him.

Los Angeles Rams @ Baltimore Ravens

There has been an incredible stat this week. Matthew Stafford’s record in the rain. He hasn’t even played in rain since 2017! But his record when he has throughout his career is awful. The Ravens are not a team that excites me, but they are really solid and any sort of mistakes from Los Angeles will be punished. The Ravens can get the job done and cover a big spread.

Carolina Panthers @ New Orleans Saints

The Panthers change of coach made some improvements last week, but not enough to get the win, despite having every chance towards the end of the game. But the Saints are struggling themselves. Derek Carr looks miserable out there. He makes mistakes a lot and comes into this one hurt. The Panthers can upset their divisional rivals.

Philadelphia Eagles @ Dallas Cowboys

The Eagles have struggled lately, but until last week had come away from these games escaping with a win. The Cowboys really should have won the first meeting between these teams but they can make up for it here. The Cowboys are one of the hottest teams in the league and a win here gives them a real shot at the number one seed.
