Those honoured were Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Dallas Mavericks point guard Luka Doncic of Ljubljana, Slovenia, Boston Celtics power forward Jayson Tatum of St. Louis, Missouri, Milwaukee Bucks power forward Giannis Antetokounmpo of Athens, Greece, and NBA MVP and Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic of Sombor, Serbia.
In 75 games this past season, Gilgeous-Alexander averaged 30.1 points per game, and 5.5 rebounds per game.
