The 2023-24 All-National Basketball Association First Team was announced on Wednesday. Those honoured were Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Dallas Mavericks point guard Luka Doncic of Ljubljana, Slovenia, Boston Celtics power forward Jayson Tatum of St. Louis, Missouri, Milwaukee Bucks power forward Giannis Antetokounmpo of Athens, Greece, and NBA MVP and Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic of Sombor, Serbia.

In 75 games this past season, Gilgeous-Alexander averaged 30.1 points per game, and 5.5 rebounds per game. He had career-highs in assists per game (6.2), steals per game (two), and field goal percentage (.535). Gilgeous-Alexander had a three-point percentage of .353, and a free throw percentage of .874. He also led the NBA in free throws made (567), and steals (150).

In 70 games this season, Doncic averaged a NBA-high and career-high 33.9 points per game. He also had career-highs in assists per game (9.8), three-point percentage (.382), and free throw percentage (.786). Doncic tied a career-high with 1.4 steals per game. He averaged 9.2 rebounds per game, had a field goal percentage of .487, and led the NBA in total points with 2370 despite missing a dozen games.

In 74 games this season, Tatum averaged 26.9 points per game, and had a career-high 4.9 assists per game. He had a field goal percentage of .471, three-point percentage of .376, and free throw percentage of .833, with an average of 8.1 rebounds per game and one steal per game.

In 73 games this season, Antetokounmpo averaged a double-double, (a career-high 30.4 points per game and 11.5 rebounds per game). He led the NBA with career-highs in field goals made (837), and two point shots made (803). Antetokounmpo also had career-highs in field goal percentage (.611), and assists per game (6.5). He had a three-point percentage of .274, free throw percentage of .657, and averaged 1.2 steals per game, and 1.1 blocks per game.

Finally, in 79 games this season, Jokic also averaged a double-double (26.4 points per game and 12.4 rebounds per game). He had a field goal percentage of .583, three-point percentage of .359, and free throw percentage of .817, along with averaging nine assists per game, and 1.4 steals per game.
