2022 NFL Divisional Round Preview: Our Expert Tips & Staking Plan

Throughout these playoffs I am going to be previewing and picking every single game, all the way to the Super Bowl. We have had soe big, big success over the past couple of years at this stage of the season so hopefully we can repeat.

Jacksonville Jaguars @ Kansas City Chiefs

This is tough to see how the Jaguars win this. They have two big wins the past two weeks, but the Chiefs, off of a bye, are a very different challenge. We can’t forget just how bad the Jags were in the first half a week ago.

KC are just a very complete team. They can put an end to this great season for Jacksonville.

New York Giants @ Philadelphia Eagles

Much like the first game here, this just feels like the end of the run for New York. It has been a great, and unexpected one. But unless Jalen Hurts is more hurt than he appears to be, then it is hard to see how they keep up with this high powered Eagles team.

Cincinnati Bengals @ Buffalo Bills

This one has game of the year potential. Two electric quarterbacks with some amazing weapons. I am just warning now, that this feels a bit of a trappy line. The Bills and Bengals are fairly even teams, with the Bills probably struggling a bit of late. In that game that was ended prematurely just a few weeks ago, the Bengals were on top. So for them to now be six point underdogs feels fishy.

But, I just can’t look past a team led by Joe Burrow getting six in the playoffs. He just has a quality that is hard to put your finger on, but it really reminds me of Tom Brady where he finds a way to play his best games when it really matters.

Dallas Cowboys @ San Francisco 49ers

If the 49ers are going to be beaten in these playoffs, I believe the Cowboys have the make up to do it. They have a very good defence with playmakers that can be the difference, but perhaps most importantly, their deep passing game is excellent up against what is maybe the 49ers only weakness.

However, I just think San Francisco are an incredible and complete team that is built to win in January. The run game is incredible, and versatile, they have incredible weapons all over the offence and a defence that can get after any quarterback.
