NRL Grand Final Preview: Our Selections & Staking Plan

Who would’ve thought that we’d talking about a great grand final matchup earlier in the year when there were whispers that the NRL would not survice if play was stopped due to COVID. We’re here and we’ve got 2 teams that are capable of playing great football which is sure to make sure this goes down as one of the great Grand Finals.

Tipping Results (Started In Round 8) :

Finals Week 3 Wrap

We had wins in both games last week but had to settle with a minor 1.1 unit loss for the week.

Let’s take a look at the grand final below.

PENRITH PANTHERS VS MELBOURNE STORM – SUNDAY 25 OCTOBER, 6:30PM, ANZ STADIUM

The Storm have come up as $1.70 favourites and when you consider that they have won 14 of their last 16 games against the Panthers it’s easy to see why.

That being said, Penrith haven’t had the same team and chemistry in the past so this is a whole new ball game.

Melbourne actually lost to the Panthers 21-14 when these two sides met back in Round 6, a game the Storm will hoping to use as motivation on the quest for their fourth Premiership.

The line currently stands at just -1.5 points, which looks just about right when you factor in both teams finished top five in points and tries to end the season.

Low scoring games have become pretty common whenever these two clubs get together.

The Panthers and the Storm have combined for over 35 points in only one of their last five contests, which leaves the 35.6 Total Points line looking a little high in here.

All things being considered we feel that the Storm will be clinical and with the prospect of rain it will turn into a grind which should play in their favour.

Total = 4 Units
