God Of Thunder – Randwick Race 3 @ 1:25pm

  • Trainer: Hawkes Team
  • Jockey: B Ryan
  • Barrier: 1

Could have not have been more impressed by his trials back this prep. Sat in the front half of his only trial at Rosehill, cornered and within a couple of strides burst to the lead and put the trial away, all under a hold. Very impressive. Gets through the soft/heavy without an issue.

Brock Ryan jumps on with his 3kg claim, 58kg and draws barrier 1. Expecting him to sit one back the fence and power over this lot.

Suggested Bet

3 unit win

Danger: Baller

Destination – Randwick Race 4 @ 2:00pm

  • Trainer: J Cummings
  • Jockey: J Parr
  • Barrier: 8

Loved his debut win when beating impressive Mrs Masial. The son of Exceed and Excel has had one trial back this prep after holding residual fitness from first prep. Looked to love the heavy going so a soft 7 is no issue. Won the trial from the front with authority while being relaxed in stride. Expecting a big showing today.

Suggested Bet

1 unit win

Danger: Dame Giselle

Special Reward – Randwick Race 5 @ 2:35pm

  • Trainer: K Lees
  • Jockey: B Avdulla
  • Barrier: 4

Stuck on beautifully in a BM94 last start with a huge gap back to second. The race set up perfect for the winner Southern Lad but there was big merit in the performance of the WA import. Maps nice and will either take the lead up or sit off the leader.

Avdulla takes the ride, love him on a front runner gets the best out of his horse. Gets in light at 53kg and has drawn perfectly in barrier 5. Will take some beating.

Suggest Bet

2 unit win

Danger: Cascadian

Libertini – Randwick Race 7 @ 3:50pm

  • Trainer: A Cummings
  • Jockey: T Berry
  • Barrier: 11

Has come on since last prep when running a great 3rd to Bivouac and Exceedance in the Coolmore. That is the best form going around. Trials back have been strong with her looking to have put on a bit more muscle.

Showed her fast change of speed and motored in the trial. Love the drawn and the way the race shapes up. Her best performance is first up and I’m expecting a big showing.

Suggested Bet

3 unit win

Danger: Lyre

Dawn Dawn – Randwick Race 9 @ 5:10pm

  • Trainer: Hawkes Team
  • Jockey: J Spencer
  • Barrier: 9

Should have won fresh when being held up horribly before getting out late and flying home. 2nd up record is outstanding and the drying track will play into her turf of foot perfectly.

Looks a stack of pace on and she can take advantage of this. Drawn wide in barrier 10 which I quite like, will go back anyway so this gives her a chance to wind up outside. Expecting a blistering turn of foot.

Suggested Bet

2 unit win

Danger: Noire

Farnese – Gosford Race 4 @ 2:54pm

  • Trainer: J Cummings
  • Jockey: G Buckley
  • Barrier: 2

1000m debut for this Godolphin daughter of Exceed and Excel. Trials leading in have been most impressive. Stalked the leader under a hold before being asked to extend over the last 100m, that she did putting the trial to bed in a couple of strides.

Looks to have a nice turf of foot and ability. Draws perfect to sit in the first half will take beating today.

Suggested Bet

2 unit win

Danger: Obscene
